Nido › Downtown buildings › Alea

Nido’s take
Airbnb and home-sharing allowed. More guest turnover can make it feel like living in a hotel: sometimes livelier and less quiet than a conventional apartment building.
Inside scoop
Ask for an east-facing unit and look out the window yourself; a high floor alone doesn't guarantee the view.
Ask for
Only the east side gets a water view, and it is distant — looking out over Bayside.
Skip if
Airbnb and short-term rentals are allowed, so expect suitcases in the elevator, new faces on your floor and more noise than a regular rental. Skip it if you want neighbors who live there. North, south, and west are not the water-view choice.
