Nido’s take

Very upscale feel, excellent finishes, and a standout Brickell location. The amenities are a big part of the appeal; the apartments themselves run small.

Inside scoop

One of the few buildings with a lot of homes open right now, so you get real choice of line and floor.

Ask for

Line 13 has a southward sightline toward Mary Brickell rather than looking directly at 500 Brickell. Line 13 is a good ask for studios and 1BRs. Studio closets felt surprisingly usable. Tour the furnished model for layout ideas. Selected east-facing 1BRs catch some water toward Icon. Line 15 is a compact, unusually shaped 1BR with water visible to the left and right. The water view to the left stays open; planned construction in the distance to the right is expected in roughly one to two years.

Skip if

Line 15: the step balcony has no room for furniture; use it for fresh air during the cooler months, not outdoor seating. Its unusual 1BR shape makes sofa-and-TV placement difficult. The apartments run small. In a 1BR, the refrigerator and closets may feel tight for two people. East-facing 1BRs can be smaller still, with a tricky sofa-and-TV arrangement. Other outlooks face 500 Brickell. South-facing units get more winter shade and look partly at the Baccarat construction; construction next door at Baccarat is expected to continue for a while.
